Microlinked Hair's iTip extension strands are created in sizes to fit through micro rings ranging from 3 to 4.5 mm in diameter.  The smaller strands are sized small enough to fit through microrings that are 2 mm in diameter. All iTip hair extensions are created from wefted and/or bulk hair bundles from various trusted Virgin hair vendors known for curly and kinky curly textures.  If you prefer to purchase your own bundles and want to have Microlinked Hair create iTip hair extension strands from it, please click here for details on the Weft-to-iTip Creation service.

Partial Head: Created from 1 bundled weft or bulk hair. Number of iTip Virgin hair extension strands depend on the following hair extension lengths:

• 14-16 inches: Approximately 150 strands

• 18 inches: 100 to 125 strands

• 20 inches: 75  to 100 strands

• 22 inches: 75 to 100 strands

At least 50 strands will be made smaller to be applied to thinner areas of the head and close to the perimeter.

Full Head: Approximately 250 iTip Virgin hair extension strands created from 2 to 3 bundles of wefted and/or bulk Virgin hair.. 75 strands will be made smaller to be applied to thinner areas of the head and areas near the perimeter. To mix curl patterns, choose the partial head option for each curl pattern you'd like to use.

Extreme Full Head: Approximately 350 iTip Virgin hair extension pieces created from 3 to 4 bundles of wefted and/or bulk Virgin hair. 100 pieces will be made smaller to be applied to thinner areas of the head and areas near the perimeter.
