I'm from the Washington DC area and I've been wearing the microlink hair extension technique exclusively for over 10 years. It was especially handy when I decided to transition my natural hair out of a relaxer. I came to wearing this extension style while I was an NFL cheerleader, dancing on the field for the Baltimore Ravens for 3 seasons and the Washington Redskins for 4 seasons after that. I needed a style that I could wear while dancing in any weather condition. If it was raining or I was working up a sweat in the humidity, I still needed to look flawless...ALWAYS. I've traveled the world wearing this look and being able to manage this extension style on my own has literally been a godsend.
I continued to wear microlink hair extensions as part of my brand once I moved on to become a commercial dancer, model, and actress. In between traveling for auditions and being on set, I privately serviced several dozens of women in the Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and New York areas - giving them all the Microlinked Hair experience!
I now live in sunny Los Angeles and for the past two years, I've been dancing for Snoop Dogg on his tours and other performances. I also do commercial and print work, stand in on television sets, and I'm constantly auditioning and training for more opportunities. This means that I could be up and traveling for a performance at any moments notice, or be called to a set or and an audition at the last minute. I knew when I decided that I'd be moving from East to West, that I wanted to continue helping women with natural and transitioning hair get my gorgeous Microlinked Hair style, even if I could no longer be personally available to service them. So the Microlinked Hair E - Tutorial was born!
